FOOD WITHOUT FETISH

Our Story

“Everything started in 1998 with our first Claypots St Kilda. We found that jazz musicians needed a place where we did not have a cover charge, the acoustics were terrific, a real jazz hub; similar to those people can find in New York or New Orleans, that was missing, and Claypots kick-started it”

By that time Claypots St Kilda used to have writers meeting, philosophy gathering, So, the hardest part was deciding a name. That put together all the essence. Initially, it was known as “Next Door Bar”, it went by various names. However, initially was a tavern and fair, we want a place where you could also swap and exchange ideas and goods, after another name, Claypots finally came to Renan’s Mind.

Claypots Seafood St Kilda,(213 Barkly St, St Kilda VIC 3182) Barbarossa, (79 Hardware Ln, Melbourne VIC 3000), Seafood Express (83 Fitzroy St, St Kilda VIC 3182), or Evening Star (South Melbourne Market, 101 Cecil St, South Melbourne VIC 3205)
